WQ & UCAS Associated Lab Industrial Design Institute intends to support the Group’s industrial development and make experimental contributions to the promotion of high-quality and innovative development of China’s industrial design through the creation of international industrial design awards, the establishment of an academic exchange platform for the interdisciplinary fusion of art and science, and the development of an innovative industrial design talent training system. As the European branch of the Industrial Design Institute WEIQIAO Germany GmbH intends to recruit overseas professional to support international exchanges and brand operations. The work location is in Düsseldorf.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Collecting, summarizing, and analyzing the development of the global industrial design field and prepare professional research reports
- Writing, reviewing, and editing press releases and promotional materials
- Assisting in supporting the full life cycle management of projects related to the Industrial Design Institute, including conducting major project demonstrations, project applications, planning and preparation, execution control, and summarization and acceptance
- Providing design service support as required by the institute and the group
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with external collaborators and industry associations and research institutions
- Assisting in other tasks of the Industrial Design Institute
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in industrial design, art design and graphic design or related majors, experience in large-scale project management is preferred
- Experience in the following related industries is preferred: new materials, textile, intelligent hardware, electronics, new energy vehicles, integrated circuits
- Proficiency in design theory, design aesthetics, and design thinking, able to independently complete graphic design work
- Excellent written and spoken German or English, with strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and design software such as SolidWorks, Photoshop, Illustrator
- A German driver’s license is preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Creative and structured thinking
- Confident and professional demeanor, high sense of responsibility and strong work initiative
