WEIQIAO Germany GmbH becomes an offi­cial mem­ber of CFEID e.V.

In Decem­ber 2021, WEIQIAO Germany GmbH was accep­ted as a full mem­ber of the Sino-Ger­man R&D Innov­a­tion Alli­ance (CFEID). Through this mem­ber­ship, Weiqiao enjoys bene­fits such as par­ti­cip­a­tion in sci­entif­ic events, sem­inars on tech­nic­al top­ics, and con­fer­ences such as the Glob­al Light­weight Sum­mit. It also allows Weiqiao to take part in cooper­a­tion pro­jects and tech­nic­al exchange oppor­tun­it­ies coordin­ated through CFEID.

The CEFID e.V. was offi­cially foun­ded on Novem­ber 24th,  2016 in Ber­lin. It now com­prises nearly 50 enter­prises, industry asso­ci­ations, and indi­vidu­al mem­bers as well as a com­mit­tee of nearly 70 registered experts, cov­er­ing all aspects of the car­bon-neut­ral industry. This also includes the tech­nic­al back­bone of lead­ing Sino-Ger­man car­bon-neut­ral enter­prises: pro­fess­ors and schol­ars from Chinese and Ger­man uni­ver­sit­ies and research cen­ters. CFEID is ded­ic­ated to pro­mot­ing the devel­op­ment of cut­ting-edge tech­no­lo­gies and innov­a­tion in China and Germany. Oth­er areas include sci­entif­ic and tech­no­lo­gic­al trans­form­a­tion, and the cre­ation of win-win cooperations.

WEIQIAO Germany GmbH is a European sub­si­di­ary and European headquar­ters of the Chinese Shan­dong Weiqiao Pion­eer­ing Group. The group includes three lis­ted com­pan­ies, two of which are lis­ted in Hong Kong, 12 domest­ic and for­eign pro­duc­tion sites and over 100,000 employ­ees world­wide. The com­plete value chains of the tex­tile and alu­min­um indus­tries are covered by the group.
