At the end of September, a business delegation from the New Energy Commercial Vehicles sector of the Weiqiao Group traveled to Germany and Italy. From advanced automotive technologies to sustainable material solutions, the trip provided valuable insights into the industry.
- Sustainability & Recycling: During a meeting with Scholz Recycling GmbH, the delegation explored developments in battery recycling and exchanged experiences in metal recovery and resource circularity.
- Exploring Industry Trends: The delegation engaged in discussions with Bosch on advancements in new energy technologies and shared ideas on intelligent driving. They also attended the IAA Messe in Hanover to gain insights into future mobility trends, with a focus on platformization, intelligence, and diversification.
- Experience Exchange & Networking: The visit to Hainachuan’s lightweight product base allowed the group to learn about industrial processes and equipment while exchanging research and manufacturing experiences with Preh.
- Intelligent Solutions & Design: Ideas were exchanged with the Italian companies LDA-Design S.r.L and ITALDESIGN GIUGIARO S.P.A. on creative design and engineering solutions.
This visit deepened the understanding of the European market for new energy commercial vehicles, expanded potential cooperation opportunities and strengthened partnerships.
